Quest Musique Shipping Policy June 2015, Updated May 2016.

General Shipping Standards:

  1. If your order is in-stock, the order will ship within two business days.
  2. Tracking information is updated on your online account and sent out via e-mail.
  3. All of our shipments are fully insured against any damage incurred during transit.
  4. All of our shipments require a signature upon delivery.
  5. Higher-value shipments require a signature and photo identification.
  6. In order to ensure the best possible service we select a shipping company that will deliver your order quickly and carefully.

Unless there are significant manufacturing or importing delays, most products are ready to ship to a customer’s address in 7-14 business days if our retail locations are out of stock. Products from some manufacturers such as Bare Knuckle Pickups, Dingwall Guitars and Music Man are build-to-order and as a result the wait time can vary from as little as four weeks up to twelve months. We do our best to communicate directly with manufacturers and distributors on your behalf to make sure we have the most up-to-date information. 

Canadian Customers:

Canadian customers can take advantage of our great free shipping policy. Any orders over $100 and under a dimensional weight of 25 kg will automatically qualify for free shipping. Any orders over $1,500.00 qualify for free shipping regardless of dimensional weight. We choose our shipping method based on the size, weight and value of the order. Most orders will ship out via UPS Standard. In certain instances we may use another shipping company (such as Canada Post or Purolator) depending on the customer’s location. Orders shipped with UPS Standard will receive tracking information when the order has shipped. This tracking number will be sent by automated e-mail and can be verified once the shipment has been picked up by UPS. Tracking numbers can be verified at www.ups.com Orders shipped with Canada Post Expedited will receive tracking information when the order has shipped. This tracking number will be sent by e-mail and can be verified once the shipment has been processed with Canada Post at www.canadapost.ca Please note that our Free Shipping policy does not apply to customers living in the following areas: YT, NT, and NU. Customers living in these areas have the option of paying for shipping with Greyhound or having it shipped by Calm Air C.O.D. Customers in these areas can expect an extra processing time of 2-4 business days while we arrange for the order to ship out. Large multiple-item shipments can also be sent out freight using a pallet. If your order does warrant a pallet shipment, our shipping department will be in contact by phone or e-mail. All customers have the option of purchasing a shipping upgrade through our website if the shipment needs to be rushed. Please note that out-of-stock or backordered products cannot be rush shipped. American Customers:

American customers can take advantage of our USA Free Shipping Policy. Any orders over $500.00 and under a dimensional weight of 25 kg will automatically qualify for free shipping. We use two different shipping companies when exporting products to the United States. The shipping company chosen will depend on the dimensional weight and value of the order. Most USA orders will ship out via DHL International Air. There is a processing time of up to two business days, after which DHL can deliver your order within 1-2 business days. In rare circumstances we may have to ship out a parcel with Canada Post, which would translate to USPS upon crossing the border. If we do have to use the standard postal service, customers will be contacted prior to shipping. Orders shipped with DHL will receive tracking information by e-mail as soon as the order has shipped. Tracking status will be updated as soon as the parcel has been scanned by DHL and shipments can be tracked by visiting www.dhl.com Please note that our USA Free Shipping Policy applies to the Continental United States only. International shipments outside of the Continental United States will be sent out via DHL International Air and shipping charges will apply. CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF CANADA, PLEASE NOTE: With all international shipments, duties and taxes will apply. Quest Music Store / Quest Musique LTD. does not charge, or assume responsibility for any of these additional fees. These fees are calculated once your shipment crosses the border into your country, and customs/duties and taxes will be collected by a third party, usually the shipping company. Certain companies may require a COD (Cash On Delivery) payment to cover these fees before the order is delivered. While Quest negotiates shipping costs on a case by case basis, under no circumstances will we assume responsibility or provide an estimate for any taxes, customs/import fees or brokerage fees. International customers will be expected to calculate these additional import costs and be aware of these potential fees before making any purchases.

International Customers:

We are proud to offer world-wide shipping on all of our products. To ensure the best possible service to our international customers, all shipments outside Canada and the Continental United States will be processed with DHL International Air. At this time, we cannot offer free shipping. However, we do pride ourselves on being able to get some of the best worldwide shipping rates for any of the products we sell.
